PROGRAM NAME Bachelor of Arts Program in Thai Studies (International Program)
PROGRAM INTRODUCTION
"Thai Studies" is launched in the first semester of academic year 2016. Students take courses in the Economics,
Politics, Society, Language and Culture of Thailand as major subjects and choose ASEAN Studies or Chinese Studies
or Indian Studies as minor subjects. They also learn research methods and conduct research. Distinctive about this program
is the option for 3rd year students to spend semester studying at the University of California under an exchange agreement
between Thammasat University and the UC.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVE
- Students posses Thai language skills, demonstrate college-level fluency in reading, writing and speaking at advanced levels.

- Students can attain a basic understanding of the interrelationships between economics, politics, history and religion of Thailand.

- Students can conduct and communicate research findings.
