Dr El-Manstrly: BSc (First Class Honours), MSc (Huddersfield University), MRes, AHEA, PhD (Glasgow University)

Dr Dahlia El-Manstrly is a lecturer in Marketing and Co-Director of the Centre for Service Excellence at the University of Edinburgh Business School, and a Distinguished Honorary Professor at Thammasat University in Thailand. Dahlia’s research focuses on five main areas in the services marketing area: relationships in services, service failure and recovery, international marketing in services, transformative services and tourism services. Dahlia’s research publications appear in peer-reviewed and international quality journals, such as Journal of Marketing Management, Journal of Service Management and International Marketing Review. Dahlia is on the Editorial Boards of leading marketing and services journals, including International Marketing Review, Journal of Services Marketing and Journal of Service Theory and Practice. She was recently invited to join the executive team of the Journal of Service Management. Dahlia was shortlisted twice for the prestigious Fulbright All-Disciplines Scholar Award (2015 and 2016), won the “Highly Recommended Paper” Award at the AMA SEVSIG conference in 2014 and won the Teaching Excellence Award in 2017.
